Caregiver Resources - Meals
Seniors can enjoy healthy meals in senior centers across the state. Meals can also be delivered to older adults who are homebound.
Congregate Meals
The Area Agencies on Aging run almost 300 senior nutrition sites throughout Oklahoma that serve healthy lunches Monday through Friday.
Generally, the only eligibility requirement is that the senior or his or her spouse is 60 or older. Meals are free, but a small donation may be requested. Transportation is sometimes provided to and from the Senior Nutrition Site or can be arranged through your local Area Agency on Aging. Home Delivered Meals
Home-delivered meals are provided by many of the senior nutrition sites operating under the Area Agencies on Aging. These meals are delivered by volunteers to seniors (60 and older) who are not able to leave their homes without assistance, are unable to prepare meals for themselves, and live within the designated delivery area.
